MSA OptimAir MM 2K PAPR Upgrade Kit, Less Facepiece

The OptimAir MM 2K Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) is designed for abatement, nuclear, lead and other hazardous particulate environments. The PAPR filters particulates from ambient air.

The PAPR includes a small, lightweight, water-resistant nickel metal hydride (NiMH) battery pack that will operate for eight hours of continuous use. Weighing only 12.5 oz., it measures only 3"x 5"x 1". The low-profile unit fits close to the wearer’s body. The sealed battery pack is water-resistant for easy shower decontamination. Another advantage: NiMH batteries do not have the “memory effect” associated with NiCad batteries. The standard Dual-Rate Battery Charger will recharge a fully discharged battery in less than three hours.

Upgrade Kit includes: motor/blower module, NiMH battery, dual-rate battery charger,
cable, one Type HE OptiFilter Cartridge, and belt. Use your present demand-style
Ultravue or Ultra Elite Facepiece or order facepiece separately from the table below.
