 MSA Industrial-Size Gas Masks
MSA’s Industrial-Size Gas Masks are full-facepiece, air-purifying respirators with a single canister designed for respiratory protection against a specific gas or group of gases, as indicated by canister identification. The canister is connected to the facepiece with a corrugated breathing tube, and supported on the wearer’s chest with a nylon carrying harness. Gas masks are used in a variety of industries, including paper mills, chemical plants, agri-business, fumigation, and hazmat situations.
The Industrial-Size Gas Masks are designed for respiratory protection against a specific gas or group of gases as indicated by canister identification. See the table for specific canister approvals. From a practical standpoint, gas masks are generally suitable for ventilated areas with relatively stable contaminant concentration levels. They should never be used in confined spaces or where oxygen deficiency and high gaseous concentrations may occur. Gas masks may also be used for escape only from atmospheres in which the contaminant concentration does not exceed the maximum use condition of the gas mask.
Each assembly includes medium black Hycar Ultravue Facepiece, breathing tube assembly,
and harness assembly, and one indicated canister packaged in a plastic carrying case.
