3M™ Adflo™ Powered Air Purifying Respirator High Efficiency System with 3M™ Speedglas™ FlexView HWR Helmet 16-1101-00 1/Case

Combines full eye and face protection with a slim, lightweight, powered air purifying respirator (PAPR). Clear polycarbonate face shield for weld prep. Does not include auto-darkening filter. Accepts 3M™ Speedglas™ Filters 9000 Series.

The 3M™ Speedglas™ FlexView System has a spring that holds the auto-darkening filter assembly securely on top of helmet, giving the welder a big clear view through the polycarbonate face shield. The face shield allows for precision grinding and cleaning, careful alignment of electrodes and inspection of newly-completed welds, all with constant eye and face protection. For welding, the user lowers spring-mounted assembly holding the auto-darkening welding filter. Important Note: Impact resistant, primary eye protection, spectacles or goggles that meet current ANSI specifications, must be worn at all times when using any welding helmet. The 3M™ Adflo™ PAPR has a high efficiency particulate filter can be “stacked” onto an optional Adflo™ Cartridge Filter (not included) for additional protection against OV/SD/CL/HC vapors. Battery charges in less than 3 hours. Audible and visual alarms signal low airflow and low battery charge.
